Teriyaki chicken with grilled Pineapple spears

A SEASONINGS AND FLAVORED SALTS RECIPE

2 servings

Main Ingredients
2 pieces of boneless
skinless chicken breasts
6 pineapple spears
1 cup of scallions thinly sliced
brown sugar
vegetable oil
ground black pepper
garlic powder
Hawaii Kai’s Bamboo Jade Sea Salt

Teriyaki sauce:
In a bowl
combine 1 cup of chicken broth
1 tbsp of freshly chopped ginger
1/4 cup of agave or honey
1/4 cup light soy sauce
1 tbsp of sesame oil
2 tbsp of oyster sauce

Directions
1. Preheat a grill pan over medium high heat.
2.Coat the chicken lightly with oil, sea salt, garlic powder and pepper on both sides
3.Place chicken on the hot grill pan and let it cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side
4.Pour the teriyaki sauce over the chicken and let it simmer in medium low heat for about 3-4 minutes
5.Brush some oil on the pineapple spears and then sprinkle a pinch of Hawaii Kai’s Bamboo Jade Sea Salt and brown sugar
6.Heat a grill pan and when it’s hot, grill the pineapple spears for about 3 minutes on each side
7.Garnish the teriyaki chicken with the sliced scallions and serve it with the grilled pineapples and a side of fragrant jasmine rice
